Our Credibility & Trust Factors

I dove with Osa Travels at Caño Island and saw two white‐tip sharks and several eagle rays—absolutely breathtaking. Our guide, Carlos, was exceptionally knowledgeable and made us feel safe the entire time

The Marino Ballena dive was perfect. I’ve dived Costa Rica before, but I’ve never seen coral this vibrant. The crew was super friendly, and the small group size made all the difference.

— Javier R.

My family did the snorkeling tour at Caño Island. Our kids (ages 8 and 11) were thrilled to see turtles up close. Osa Travels provided extra life jackets and constant attention. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. All scuba tours require a minimum PADI Open Water Diver certification. We offer guided dives only. Snorkel tours do not require any certification.

Scuba divers must be at least 18 years old (16–17 with parental written consent). For snorkeling, the minimum age is 8 years old, accompanied by an adult.

Caño Island conditions vary by season: July-November and January-April offer best visibility (15–30 meters). Marino Ballena dives are generally calm, with visibility of 8–15 meters.

We recommend taking seasickness medication 30 minutes prior to departure and choosing a mid-morning tour when sea is usually calmer.
